On this first anniversary of Eleanor's death, I just wanted to mark the day and say that although one year has passed, Eleanor is still very much with us and in out thoughts and prayers. I like to think that she is looking down on us and still enjoying being a part of our lives. She was a very special person

Dear Eleanor - it's nearly 2 months since you were taken from us but I think of you often. I can still see your happy, smiling face and remember your kindness and thoughtfulness to others. I always smile about how you always remembered what I was up to - even though I'd sometimes forgotten myself.

I taught Eleanor to play the piano from when she was 8 years old and soon formed a lasting friendship with her family. Eleanor took superb photos at all our special family events and we treasure them. Our Church remembered Eleanor in the prayers every week for a long time and now she is free from pain. She was a very courageous person and never complained. We will miss her. Many she rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear about Eleanor's - I left the Bank several years ago now, but always remember Eleanor bustling about the place with her Avon book.

I was shocked to hear of Eleanor's death, as I left the Bank of England some time ago and had not heard news of her. Happy memories of group picnics organised by Eleanor.
