In memory of Bärbel Hannelore Robbins

1951 - 2022

So far we have raised

£685.00

My beautiful, courageous Mum was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 and fought this until she sadly passed away this year.

My Mum was in remission for almost 15 years before her breast cancer came back. Mum had weekly IV chemotherapy for the best part of 6 years. If you know how many blood tests and cannulas are involved in that you would understand how much of a brave, courageous fighter she really was.

I can’t save my Mum or bring her back, but if I could help stop it happening to anyone else’s I will try my best.

So please if you are able, light a candle on my Mum’s donation page and help me raise money for a wonderful charity in her memory 💕 🕯

I didn't know Barbel & don't know her family. However, Jennifer so kindly gave my mum a gift bag the other day, containing small items & a note about her mum. My mum has been visiting Snowdrop for chemo for 8 years. She is 81. She has been touched by so many acts and words of kindness from strangers during this time but Jennifer's gesture, in Barbel's honour, really touched us both. Thank you. Together, we will defeat this vile disease xx

Thank you for my lovely Mothers day memory bag. I was having chemo yesterday when it was given and it lit up the room. I had mine but it was lovely to see all the ladies faces as they were given theirs. It wasn't what was in the bag I don't think any of us looked in we were all just smiling and thinking what a wonderful thought and how much it had made our day. Chemo is hard. I am 61 and have lost of most of my family through breast cancer and its kind thoughts and the knowledge that we are not alone and others think about us even though they don't know us. You are a beautiful person and love of your mom shines in you. Thank you for making my day. xx
